Mobility Management Congress that will take place on April 26 at President Hotel in Prague, will be the first of its kind focused on trends in complex management of enterprise mobility. Such mobility, which takes account of all modes of company transport, including business trips or commuting to work, and accents its overall effectiveness and reduction of negative impacts. The Program of the Congress raises the legitimate interest of attendees – just in the first week after publication of the program there are over 50 participants registered, coming from top management of the companies across all market segments.
In the past 10 years there were very well developed partial conferences focused on issues of fleet management or business logistics in our market. However in Western Europe, the concept of Mobility Management as a long-term strategy is on the growth aimed at the streamlining of transport and reduction of its negative impacts. It also includes ways how to optimise the use of existing fleet infrastructure, in particular how to improve conditions for the development of environment- friendly types of transport used within the company, including business trips and commuting to work.
Changes occurring in the management of personal mobility are pushed not only by efforts on cost savings, but also by much more important themes, such as contributing to the long-term business sustainability, including the environment protection. In reaction to changing demands on mobility management the company Blue Events opens a new space for professional debate – the Congress Mobility Management, whose first year will take place on April 26, 2012 at the Hotel President in Prague.
The Congress Program will present concepts and visions that have been already successfully pursuing in abroad, such as carpooling, car-sharing, or ecodriving. A major contribution of the programme is the fact that among speakers there are not only managers dealing with transport or fleet management, but due to the strategic focus there are also top executives. The core contribution to the topic of new mobility vision will be held by Martin Hausenblas, Vice-President of Adler International. An afternoon panel discussion of selected CEOs and Managing Directors of companies supplying enterprise mobility solutions and their customers will be looking for answers to the fundamental questions, which strategy is better - whether the one based on mutual effective pressure between customers and suppliers or more open cooperation.
Congress is thus factually interesting mainly for owners, Managing and Financial Directors of companies, secondarily for all executive personnel involved in the fleets, logistics, purchase of services related to transport of goods or employees, or the issue of sustainability and CSR.
The organizers hope that the case studies and conclusions of the discussions will help Czech companies to find the right way to streamline transport in the most efficient way for the company, employees and society as a whole. To reflect the wider context of mobility, the organisers have decided to contribute to its development where it is needed. Part of money from registration fees will be spent on the purchase of 5 donkeys with a cart who will assist in some out of 15 countries supported by a public collection of Lide v tisni /People in need organization. Each of the Conference participants can therefore have a good feeling that through his/her registration has contributed a small amount for a good purpose.
