One day in the life of CFO brings inspiration how to master the coming days better

New special event called CFO Congress has a subtitle “One day in the life of CFO” in its first year. Its program promises practical news useful for everyday work of CFO, notice about risks which the more and more unpredictable futire can bring and informal discussion and opinion exchange of participants. Therefore organizers, companies ECONOMIA and Blue Events, believe the time investment into the day of 3rd October 2012 in hotel Boscolo Prague will pay the CFOs off. Program of the CFO Congress is designed for representatives all kinds of companies across all fields and sizes. From various aspects the congress will look at one practical day in the life of CFO and will seek ways to make his/her activities more efficient, provide information about hot news which can facilitate the difficult life of CFO and his/her team.

As people are able to learn the best form negative experiences, the opening session will therefore offer an overview of the biggest mistakes CFOs can make and it will also open discussion on the topic of CFO’s priorities in the current time. One of the expected speakers, Karel Soukenik, CFO Raiffeisenbank, is adding his comment: “During coming three years CFO will need to know mainly things no one has ever taught him.”

Partial information support for him can be the second conference session which will bring novelties in key areas of the CFO’s work. Radek Hovorka, CFO IBM Czech Republic, will explain how to understand and correctly take demands of colleagues from IT. New concept of corporate mobility and successful joint of comfort and savings will be presented by Radovan Mužík from the company Fleet Partners. “Corporate mobility as fundamental part of business is source-demanding and therefore it is always in focus when it comes to efficiency; this is almost continuously. Current trends show in few years this area will look totally different. How to prepare for this and what to deal with for the sake of keeping and strengthening own competitiveness?” these will be topics discussed in the presentation of R. Mužík. At the end of the second session Jan Spáčil, Partner Deloitte Legal, will answer questions regarding the important legal and criminal-law responsibility of CFO.

Practical range of the conference will be proven also by two large panel discussion focused on partial differences of CFO’s issues in big and middle-sized companies. The congress will culminate in premiere of the new BEST FINANCE TEAM 2012. As a part of this at the conference there will be presentation of the most interesting projects.
